Love Birds

Recently I created artwork for my brother's wedding invitation. My sister-in-law, Michelle, is a print production manager at Rapp Collins, and had a lot of great input. She also had the help of awesome designer and fellow Art Center grad, Danielle Perkins. The imagery is of a tree of life with flowers, pomegranites and two love birds on top. The trunk is meant to symbolize the union of the couple.

Happy Holidays!

I created the tree lady above for the Wax Poetic holiday show, and was inspired to give her a Hanukkah counterpart.

Recent good news: I was selected for Society of Illustrators West 46 and Society of Illustrators 50. Also, I have begun planning a two-woman show for next fall at the Ojai Art Center with my mother, sculptress extraordinaire Sylvia Raz. And lastly, I've joined altpick, and that's where you'll find some of my more recent work. Stay warm, and have a wonderful holiday!
